I like using digital technology and have fully embraced blogging, emails, Skype, Facebook and as of a few months ago even joined the world of Twitter. However, there is still something about letters that digital communication just cannot match. You can't hold an email or hang a tweet about Christmas on your door. On a recent jaunt around Montevideo with some friends, who were looking for a good place to buy art supplies, I finally discovered a post office. I found out that it is relatively cheap to send a letter abroad from Uruguay, although it will probably take awhile to even get out of the country. That being said, I will certainly be using snailmail to stay in touch, in addition to all the digital stuff. If you would like to communicate with me the old-fashioned way, here is my address! Although if you're planning to send me a time sensitive letter aka Christmas card, you might have to plan ahead!
